SMR will open Tube 2026 with the Stainless Steel & Nickel Alloy Tube & Pipe Market Insights Day 2026 on Monday, 13 April 2026, at the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf (South Entrance, next to Hall 1).
Organised by SMR Events in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf, the one-day conference brings together international decision-makers and market experts from the stainless steel and nickel alloy tube and pipe industry. The event provides structured market intelligence and strategic orientation at the very start of the world’s leading tube industry trade fair.

The conference programme focuses on global trade and market access, including the impact of anti-dumping measures, CBAM and new trade barriers, as well as India’s capacity expansion and its implications for global supply and competition. Further key topics include regional demand trends, developments in major end-use segments such as oil & gas, power generation, food & beverage, semiconductors and automotive, and future growth areas including SMRs, hydrogen, CCUS, desalination and data-center infrastructure.

Technology and product developments will also be addressed, covering piercing versus extrusion, welding technologies, evolving grade requirements, pipe dimensions and raw-material and alloy surcharge trends.

By combining expert presentations with panel discussions and direct exchange, the Market Insights Day offers participants a fact-based framework for strategic decisions and supports more informed discussions and business meetings during the subsequent days of Tube 2026.
