Acerinox reports resilient 9M results, pessimistic about Q4 stainless environment

The end of a five-month strike in Spain enabled Acerinox to significantly increase production in Q3 2024. However, revenues remained constrained by the weaker-than-expected stainless steel market.
The company’s expectations about the stainless steel market picture in Q4 are rather pessimistic. However, Acerinox continues to stake on solid long-term support from the U.S. and the high-performance alloys (HPA) businesses, which will drive its further development.
