
Aperam reports stronger shipments, sales of stainless&electrical steel in Q4
Aperam reached the highest stainless and electrical steel shipments of the year in Q4. However, the company remains pessimistic about the market situation.
Aperam’s sales for Q4/ 2023 increased by 6% at EUR 1,551 million, compared to EUR 1,463 million for the third quarter of 2023. Total shipments increased from 516 kt in the third quarter of 2023 to 541 kt in the fourth quarter of 2023 due to seasonal improvements in Europe and the absence of production disruptions. The company noted, though, that absolute shipment volumes remained unsatisfactory.
