China files WTO complaint over Canadian steel, aluminium and EV taxes
China has requested consultations with the World Trade Organization (WTO) over new measures Canada plans to impose on certain Chinese products, including electric vehicles (EV), steel, and aluminum.
China’s Ministry of Commerce formally appealed to the WTO concerning Canada's decision to implement import tariffs of 100% on electric vehicles, effective October 1, and 25% on steel and aluminum, effective October 15. Continue Reading? Please click box below!
