
China Stainless Steel Association: production to reach 38-38.5 million t in 2024
On October 25, the Stainless Steel Council of China Iron and Steel Association (CSSC) presented its Annual Work Report at a conference in Beihai, Guangxi.
One of the most pressing issues discussed at the conference was the low profitability of stainless steel enterprises. However, when analyzing the causes of this situation, the focus was not primarily on problems within the Chinese economy but rather on the weak growth of many other countries. This negatively impacts the demand for Chinese stainless steel and products made from it, consequently weakening the domestic demand for stainless steel in China. Continue Reading?
