This acquisition is expected to enhance Acerinox's presence in the aerospace segment, where the company currently has limited exposure through its subsidiary VDA Metals.

Additionally, the move positions Acerinox as a leader in the high-performance alloys (HPA) market in the United States, the company's most successful market, where it operates a leading stainless steel producer, North American Stainless (NAS) and generates about 50% of its revenues.
