Maruichi Steel Tube to invest into pipemaking plant on robust semiconductors demand
Japan’s Maruichi Steel Tube has announced plans to establish a new facility dedicated to producing stainless steel pipes for semiconductor equipment.
The company is set to invest JPY 48 billion (approximately USD 325 million) in this new venture. The 40,000-square-meter plant will be located in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The project reportedly includes stainless steel seamless and welded pipe facilities. Construction will begin in April 2025 and will be expected to be completed by 2027. Continue Reading?
