Merafe Resources ends European FeCr benchmark price reporting

Merafe, which operates a joint-venture chrome project with Glencore, has decided to discontinue publication of the quarterly European ferrochrome benchmark price.

“Shareholders of Merafe are hereby advised that the quarterly European ferrochrome benchmark (EUBM) price will be discontinued effective from June 2024, and the company will therefore no longer publish the EUBM price on the [Johannesburg] Stock Exchange News Service,” the company stated on May 20.
