Outokumpu reports stable deliveries and sales in Q3 despite challenging market

Outokumpu reported solid Q3 results driven by improved performance of business areas Europe and Ferrochrome. At the same time, the American business was weaker than expected.

Shrinking manufacturing activity in Europe and the U.S. amid growing economic and political uncertainties and lower seasonality prevented recovery in stainless steel demand from key sectors in the quarter.
