Stainless steel flats prices hike for April in Taiwan

Taiwan's key stainless steel flats maker has decided to raise prices for April due to improved exports from one side and rising costs from another. Domestic demand still lags behind.
Although the manufacturer still prefers to avoid official announcements, the company informed its local customers about the price increase for April in private negotiations. Over the month, the 300 series (including 316L grade) hot-rolled and cold-rolled coil offers increased by TWD 1,500/t (USD 47/t). Notably extra for 316L is TWD 1,500/t.
