Strike ends in Finland, no resolution in sight in Spain

While strikes in Finland have ceased, industrial actions have continued unabated in Spain for over two months.
The European stainless steel market has been adjusting to limited local supply since the beginning of the year due to lengthy strikes, affecting two major flat products suppliers. For the moment, the shortage of material was not deemed dramatic; however, much longer than the expected duration of the strike in Spain is starting to raise concerns as after another round of negotiations, there is still no agreement in sight.
