Strong industry support for SMR Conference in Hamburg

Two of the major European stainless steel producers, Acerinox and Aperam, are supporting the upcoming SMR Stainless Steel Conference in Hamburg (September 20-22, 2022) as platinum sponsors.

SMR is proud to announce the sponsor line-up for its upcoming Stainless Steel Conference in Hamburg, Germany that will take place from September 20 to 22, 2022. Strong support from the industry will ensure that this conference will be THE Stainless Event of the Year 2022.

Two of the major European stainless steel producers, Acerinox and Aperam, are supporting the event as platinum sponsors. Both Aperam (acquisition of ELG) and Acerinox (acquisition of VDM) have recently increased their presence in Germany, one of their most important markets.

There are also two gold sponsors: Voss Group Europe, a distributor of stainless steel long products, will invite delegates for a field visit to their Hamburg warehouse. Cronimet Holding GmbH, a supplier of raw materials for the stainless steel industry, will host a networking boat trip.
