Tsingshan’s Zimbabwe carbon steel plant to be launched in June

The biggest stainless steel maker, Tsingshan Holding, is reportedly ready to launch its African carbon steel project in June. The key facilities have been recently successfully checked.
According to a report from Zimbabwe’s media, the trial operation of the Manhize steel plant near Mwuma was highly successful last weekend. This success sets the foundation for its official production next month. Zimbabwe is now poised to become one of the largest steel-producing countries on the African continent. The company stated that it tested at least five critical components of the factory, and the results indicated that these components are in good condition and ready for production.
