UK CBAM starts to get shape

London launched additional consultation on introducing the UK Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (UK CBAM), proposing specific features of the tool for consideration.

This consultation seeks views on proposals for the design and administration of the UK CBAM from 2027. The government wants to hear from importers and their agents, other businesses, individuals, tax advisers, trade and professional bodies, and other interested parties, including those overseas.
