Vietnam cancels anti-dumping duties on stainless cold-rolled flats

Vietnam officially ended its anti-dumping (AD) duties on cold-rolled stainless steel products from China, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Indonesia on October 26, 2024.

This marks a significant shift in trade policy following five years of renewed duties that began in 2019. According to Decision No. 3162/QD-BCT, the General Administration of Customs has instructed the Information Technology Department to cease the imposition of AD duties on products falling under the following HS codes: 7219.32.00, 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00, 7219.35.00, 7219.90.00, 7220.20.10, 7220.20.90, 7220.90.10, and 7220.90.90.
