Walsin claims stable local prices but inches up export offers for longs

Walsin Lihwa announced stable domestic offers for October. Only export prices for longs moved slightly up. FOB prices for flats remained almost unchanged.
According to the price announcement on September 30, domestic prices for longs and flats of the 200, 300 (including 316 grade), and 400 series remained unchanged. The company did not see any demand improvement in September. The domestic long product market was even slightly weaker than in August, while export trading was under the pressure of tough competition with Chinese rivals. Continue Reading?
